Painting manifests many translations. Apart from being a compulsion that initiates movement from a position of stillness, it is a particularity built with tools of color and form that situates a place – or rather a site – as a scene of motion and changeability; an area of construction at the baseline of navigating our voice in the vastness of the world and the immediacy of perception.
